Tim Peach is a second generation lawyer at Peach & Weathers – A Law Corporation, and a founding partner of the firm’s current manifestation. Tim received his law degree from Western State University College of Law.
Mr. Peach began working for his father, Robert Peach, as an investigator, law clerk and associate attorney. Upon his father’s death in 1985, Mr. Peach and William W. Weathers formed a partnership that resulted in the firm’s current manifestation: Peach & Weathers – A Law Corporation.
Mr. Peach has practiced continually in San Bernardino County since 1979, specializing in Civil Litigation involving plaintiff’s personal injury cases. He has extensive trial experience and is most well-known for obtaining a 5.1 million dollar verdict against the State of California after a Bakersfield jury trial in 1991 which at the time was the largest personal injury verdict in the history of Kern County. He has also served as a presenter at many seminars and at the Inn of court in San Bernardino County and with the Consumer Attorneys of California. He takes pride in making himself and his staff available to assist clients immediately and personally, this approach has resulted in his client’s feeling respected, relevant and well-served.
Mr. Peach currently concentrates on representation of plaintiffs in personal injury cases, and has gained a reputation as a skillful products liability attorney. He has recently shifted his focus to providing his services as a well-respected mediator. He enjoys spending time at his quiet home in the mountains above San Bernardino, where he has lived since 1983.
William W. Weathers
Bill Weathers was born and raised in Riverside, – graduating from La Sierra Academy in 1970, University of California, Riverside with High Honors in 1974 and Western State University College of Law in 1977.
In 1975 he began working as an investigator and law clerk for Hayton & Peach in San Bernardino, the predecessor firm to Peach & Weathers.
He continued at Hayton & Peach until 1979 when he left to work at the Riverside firm of Thompson & Colegate, where he specialized in defending personal injury claims on behalf of insurance companies. Since 1985 he has been in partnership with Tim Peach, first in San Bernardino, and more recently in Redlands, with a satellite office in Riverside.
Since 1985 his practice has been devoted exclusively to representing injured victims and their families in their claims against insurance companies or corporate defendants and public entities.
Mr. Weathers lives in Riverside with his wife, Terry, who is both a registered nurse and an attorney. They have four children (a physician, a teacher and two registered nurses) and five grandchildren. When not working, he enjoys spending time with his family and traveling.
Mr. Weathers has been active in the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA) since his induction in 1992. ABOTA is a national organization of civil trial attorneys dedicated to the preservation of the 7th Amendment right to trial by jury in civil disputes. Membership is by invitation only and requires extensive jury trial experience. In 2000 Mr. Weathers served as president of the San Bernardino/Riverside Chapter of ABOTA, and he served on the National Board of Directors from 2000-2014.
